Urvashi Malhotra represents clients in complex civil litigation with a focus on securities and derivative litigation and commercial disputes.
Prior to her work at Kaufhold Gaskin LLP, Urvashi was a business litigation Associate at two international Vault top 50 law firms, working on a variety of commercial and securities litigations, regulatory investigations, and internal corporate investigations. In both firms, Urvashi also maintained a robust pro bono practice, working on housing, immigration, and criminal defense cases.
Urvashi received her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was co-founder and President of the California Law Students Association and President of the South Asian Law Students Association. While in law school, Urvashi externed for California Supreme Court Justice Goodwin H. Liu. As an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, Urvashi received her bachelor's degree in Political Science and received the Department Citation, the highest honor given to undergraduates in each major.
