Jenny Lai graduated from Cal Berkeley and Vanderbilt Law School and is a litigation law clerk at Kaufhold Gaskin Gallagher pending her admission to the Bar. Jenny assists with a wide variety of corporate disputes, commercial litigation, internal investigation matters, and general litigation. Jenny also has experience with intellectual property and trademark issues. Jenny has been an integral part of several KGG litigation, electronic discovery, and trial teams.
During law school, Jenny obtained a Law and Business Certificate, which allowed her to focus her legal education on business-related legal issues and skills. While at Vanderbilt Law, she was sworn into the state Supreme Court as a student attorney. She also participated in the Intellectual Property and Trademarks Legal Clinic, representing clients in registration of trademarks and copyrights, and also litigating trademark disputes.
Prior to law school, Jenny worked for an organization that promoted sustainable fair trade practices.
Jenny is a fluent Mandarin speaker and, in her spare time, volunteers with Reading Partners, a nonprofit helping local elementary students increase literacy and reading proficiency. Jenny loves running and hiking, enjoying the outdoors, and being with friends.
